Sev Puri

Dish of the Day:

 Sev Puri:



Ingredients: 10 - Flat Puris (crisp) 
1 cup Fine Sev
1/2 cup chopped Onion (Pyaj) 

1/2 cup chopped Tomato
1/2 cup Curd (Dahi)
3 tblsp Tamarind (Imli) Chutney
3 tblsp Green Chutney
1/2 cup boiled Potato (Aloo) (optional)
1 tblsp Chaat Masala
1/2 tsp Red chili pepper

Procedure: Arrange puris on a plate.Fill with the chick peas curry and  few chopped boiled potato cubes.Add about 1/4 tsp of tamarind and green chutneys in each.Sprinkle Chat masala  powder, salt, red chilli powder.Sprinkle finely chopped onions and tomato.Then generously sprinkle sev all over the puris.Garnish with finely chopped coriander.Serve fresh.


You can add yogurt(curd) to it before adding sev.


Tip of the day:

To determine whether an egg is fresh, immerse it in a pan of cool, salted water. If it sinks, it is fresh-if it rises to the surface, throw it away
