ఈ పర్వదినాన మీకు రామ నవమికి సంభందించిన ముఖ్యమయిన వంటకాలను అందిస్తున్నాను.


Vada pappu  and Panakam(Ramarasam)


Ingredients :
  1/2 cup  of  yellow split moongdhal
Grated jaggery

Procedure:
Vadapappu: Take  Yellow split moong dhal and soak it for at least one hour. Now wash the dhal and add some grated jaggery. This is the simple vada pappu neivedyam but many people add  grated coconut , chopped green chilies,chopped Mango pieces and  chopped Cucumber


Panakam (Rama rasam):

Ingredients :

Powdered Jaggary - 1/2 cup / 100 gms
Water - 200 ml
Pepper Powder -2 pinches
Cardamom Powder - 2 pinches

Procedure:

Powder the jaggary well and mix in the water. Dissolve it well. Filter it in a muslin cloth or a filter.. Add elachi(cardamom) powder and pepper powder. Now  Mix well and offer as neivedyam.
